When should I RSVP by?
Please send your reply by September 6, 2026 through our RSVP page
. It helps us finalize all the details with the resort.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony begins at 4:30 PM. Please plan to arrive by about 4:00 PM to park at the Lodge & Conference Center and catch the shuttle to the Gazebo at Wedding Pointe.
What is the dress code?
Formal / cocktail attire. The ceremony is outdoors, with a short walk along sidewalk and lawn, so please choose footwear you will be comfortable in on grass. October evenings in central Pennsylvania may be cold, so please bring a layer for a potentially chilly evening.
We ask that you avoid the obvious colors (white dresses), or extremely vibrant colors like red or neon. See the question below for details on the bridal party’s attire.
What is the bridal party wearing?
The bridesmaids will be wearing dark purple dresses
, and the groomsmen will be wearing black suits and green ties. Chan is wearing a penguin onesie. And Jess is wearing a white dress but it’s a secret and she won’t show it to you until the wedding.
What happens if it rains?
In case of rain, the ceremony will be held indoors at the reception venue, the Lodge & Conference Center.
Can I bring a guest or a plus-one?
We are able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation and RSVP. If you have a question about your invitation, please reach out to us.
Are children welcome?
Yes! Check your invitation for details on who is invited. Be sure to note on your RSVP how many will be attending.
Where should I stay?
We have a room block on-site at Lake Raystown Resort, plus a few hotel options nearby. See our Travel page

Will there be a bar?
There will be an open bar with signature cocktails, beer, and wine.
How do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options will be available. Please note any dietary needs in your RSVP, or email us, and we will prepare dinner options accordingly.
